Installing the SQL Relay Enterprise Modules

Supported Platforms

The SQL Relay Enterprise Modules are currently supported on modern versions of CentOS, Fedora, and openSUSE systems. Currently, only x86_64 platforms are supported.

Support for non-RPM-based Linux systems will be available soon.

Prerequisites

Before you can install the SQL Relay Enterprise Modules, you must first install the SQL Relay Binary Distribution.

The SQL Relay Binary Distribution is available for download on the SQL Relay Download Page. See the enclosed README for installation instructions.

The SQL Relay Enterprise Modules are not currently supported with versions of SQL Relay built from source.

Installation on Linux Platforms

Downloading the SQL Relay Enterprise Modules

The SQL Relay Enterprise Modules are available for download at:
http://www.firstworks.com/sqlrenterprise/sqlrelay-enterprise-modules-1.1.0.tar.gz

Extracting the SQL Relay Enterprise Modules

To extract the distribution, run:

tar xf sqlrelay-enterprise-modules-1.1.0.tar.gz

This should create a directory named sqlrelay-enterprise-modules-1.1.0.

Installing the SQL Relay Enterprise Modules

A README file should be found inside of the sqlrelay-enterprise-modules-1.1.0 directory. Follow the instructions in the README to install the appropriate modules for your system.

After the modules have been installed, they must be licensed before they can be used.
